The language manager, controls the parsing of documents - this is used by the scintilla widget to do the folding, the Class tree to show all the classes and methods.

When a document is loaded, the Language manager has to decide what language the file is. (eg. a  HTML or gif image.... etc.) If it has an available parser it will generate a class tree of the file.
There are working parsers for HTML,XML and PHP at present
